The Dangers of Mathematics At Somewhere International Airport, an individual later discovered to be a public school teacher was arrested trying to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a set square and a calculator. Authorities believe he is a member of the notorious al-Gebra movement. He is being charged with carrying weapons of math instruction.

I spent my Friday and Saturday building a Tabernacle for bible class. The topic for HubbaDood's class was Uzzah and the Ark (2 Samuel 6:1-11; 1 Chron. 15:1-28). The kids just loved the model. I wish I had had more time to paint it but it still worked as a great visual aid.

Although I really like my KitchenAid mixer, the new beater doesn't make for good licking.

The first thing I have to say is, "Awww. She's cute." Beautiful kid.
Loved the math joke. I'm a bit of a math dork (not nerd, nerds know pi to it's hundredth digit, and I have more of a life than that), so it hit home for me. That was good. I may have to borrow that one.
I hope HubbahDood's Sunday school lesson goes off well, and that it is as fun to prepare as it is to hear.

There is so much to learn about Uzzah and the Ark. Poor Uzzah was just trying to do a good thing. I guess good things aren't always as good as WE think they are.

I hate math, it is the minion of satan. The boy brought home a wicked sheet of metric conversions yesterday and made me feel violent.
