O Christmas Tree

While on my daily swim around the "blogger" pool this morning, I noticed a few pics of some Christmas trees. I thought I would share ours (on the left) with everyone. It's kind of junky undernead. I haven't wrapped anything and I've just thrown bags of things I've bought for the kids in the family under there. AND, my kids have been playing with everything under there.

While I'm at it, I thought I would post a picture of the strangest tree I think I've ever seen. We were at my dad's house earlier this month and he had his unusual tree already on display - a giant palm tree. We took a picture of the grandkids in front of it. Leave it to my dad to have this. He thrives on drawing attention to himself. I love him anyway.

From left to right: Maegan (almost 6), Phillip (9 - born on my birthday), Lauren (3 - my sweet daughter), Rachel (6), and my precious son Landen (6).

I think it's my daughter's elf holding a green and red paper chain for counting down the days until Christmas. There's another on the other side for Landen's chain.

I guess you could say my dad is eccentric - or wierd.

Pretty tree! Great looking bunch of kids there too! I like the lighted palm tree as well.

I noticed you have "songwriting" listed as one of your interests. Got anything you're willing to share with the blogmasses?

Rachel - Thanks for visiting me.

Uncle Joe - not sure if I would know how to share. I only write in spurts - whenever it comes to me. I have a song I wrote for my son that everyone tells me should be on the radio. I've since moved on in that area of my life. Used to be heavy into playing and performing but got married and had kids. I miss music but I get such great joy at what I do now.
