It Never Ends

Well, after a long day of funeral responsibilities we made it back home at around 4:00 this afternoon. I hadn't even been home long enough to take off my shoes when the phone rang. It was my best friend's husband calling to tell me my friend's mother was killed in a car accident last night. I didn't even have a response.

The Hubbs headed to church this evening with the HubbaBrood while I headed to my friend's house. No one answered the door when I got there so I just walked in and went straight to her bedroom where she was sitting with her daughter and crying. She's so sad.

This friend is truly a friend. We don't see eachother very often but she's been the only one to drop whatever to support me. Her mom was such a wonderful grandmother to her children. She is going to have a tough time.

I hope all is better with everyone else. Keep us Kentucky folk in your prayers. Thanks.

Thanks honey. I just pray I have the right words of comfort for her. All I could do last night was just be there.

I'd be speechless, too. I am now. What can one say after so much has happened in such a short period of time?

You're in my prayers, I promise you. And my thoughts.

Give my love to your friend. If you feel that is appropriate at least.

I have a friend like that. We love each other, and though we see each other quite rarely these days we both know the other would drop everything, EVERYTHING and come running if needed.

*Hugs* to you, your family, and your friend and her daughter.

I am so sorry for your friend's loss...this kind of sudden and unexpected loss is often the hardest to take. I just stopped to pray for all of you.

Sometimes just being there is enough......sorrow has no words sometimes.

Lord we don't understand your timing for this awful thing that has happened...you took someone we weren't ready to give up. Please cover her family during their time of loss....surround them with friends and family to ease their burdens and share their sorrow. The family in the middle of this sorrow needs an extra touch from you today Lord. Please prove yourself mighty in this situation God......

What a horrible thing to happen. Why do these things always happen in groups?? It is so wrong. Sending prayers to all of you at this time. Take care, Meow
