When I hear of other Christians (including myself) speaking of value, it's our drive to see our own worth through God's eyes. Sometimes this overwhelming revelation comes at my darkest times in my life, when I turn to God when I have mucked things up for myself and feel the most unworthy of His love.

People who do not believe in God or Jesus death on the cross will obviously struggle with wrong pride/self-esteem/self-image because their focus in life is completely skewed. They center on themselves. (remember 'I' is the center of S.I.N...hehe)

Mr. Henry is also speaking of 'duty' to finding our actual self image. I don't quite understand what the duty would be. Does this mean the only key to finding what our actual value is in Christ is by obedience to His will? Is it the obedience he is speaking of as our duty?

Im a bit confused by this but it's not so hard to do.Jennhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10686252445732624786noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18601626.post-1154699790116475012006-08-04T09:56:00.000-04:002006-08-04T09:56:00.000-04:00Absolutely.Absolutely.Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03015709082153536906noreply@blogger.com
